Artificium Gallery is a vibrant, energetic and innovative gallery. In its first year of operation, it has proven to be a great asset to me as an artist as well as to the Rockford arts community. I appreciate having a gallery in Rockford which represents me on an ongoing basis. Consistent, ongoing representation by a reputable gallery is very important in my continuing effort to exhibit my work as well as to advance my art career. In presenting an exhibit proposal to an arts center or art museum, being able to demonstrate an exhibit record and ongoing gallery representation can make a crucial difference in the review process. Artificium’s representation also allows me to refer potential clients to a specific place where my work is always on display and there is always a competent person on hand to represent me. It is much more to me than a little bit of wall space to hang my paintings.

One of the best ways to check out what is happening in Rockford’s art scene right now is for everyone to go visit ARTIFICIUM Gallery & GIFTS here in our very own River District that is displaying/selling the work of area, regional and national fine artists and artisans. Expect to find a diverse collection of select, quality fine art in this new and trendy gallery ranging from traditional, to contemporary, to Folk Art, to very eclectic and whimsical. Every wall and shelf is covered with a unique selection of paintings, prints, ceramics, assemblages, jewelry, etc. There is something there to appeal to everyone from a serious art collector to just someone looking for a one of a kind gift for someone special. You definitely will not walk away from this wonderful gallery disappointed. I am so very happy to be represented by ARTIFICIUM right here in my own hometown and as an artist consider myself lucky to be a part of this growing, high end gallery. We are a consignment gallery and gift shop located in the heart of downtown Rockford, IL. Our primary focus is to connect local and regional artists and artisans with the community. We provide a resource for artists/artisans to sell their wares and products to the consumer. We occasionally bring in artists from across the US as well! We have great music venues, a local brewery, Carlyle, and other bars that carry a large assortment of microbrews. We have a map at our shop to pick up with a listing of all the other unique retailers in our area within a few minutes walk or drive!
